Born and bred (fairly!) locally, Patrick read theology at Durham before spending a year as a Pastoral Assistant for a community church near Lisson Grove. A year living in the community on Iona gave him a taste for ecumenical collaboration, creative worship and liturgy, and building community. Patrick trained for the priesthood at Westcott House in Cambridge, where he studied for an MPhil in Psychology and Religion, before serving his title in Dorchester, Dorset, where he had the chance to experience both town centre and rural ministry, and a variety of worship styles.
A keen cricketer, a some-time golfer and a long-suffering Fulham fan, Patrick is also looking forward to dusting off his guitars.
“I am looking forward to meeting, getting to know and starting to work with all members of this vibrant and exciting community in Wokingham. Thankyou to all who have made me feel so welcome thus far; I am settling in nicely.”
