CA Week is May 10-16 this year. Here’s what’s happening.
1. St Paul’s Rooms
As usual, we will be having an event at St Paul’s Rooms (on the Reading Road, opposite Holt Lane) on Saturday, May 16 from 10.30-12.30pm. There will be coffee, cakes and lots of second-hand bargains! Please spread the word and invite your friends.
2. Giving out envelopes
During CA Week, we will need volunteers for Monday-Friday (May 11-15) to distribute envelopes around Wokingham. (We don’t collect money at the doors any more). We will meet at 7pm each evening. The locations are:
Monday: Beanoak (corner of Beanoak Road and Charwood Road by the shops)
Tuesday: Rectory (corner of Wiltshire Road and Crutchley Road)
Wednesday: Joel Park (opposite Martins Drive on Jubilee Avenue)
Thursday: Woosehill (Morrison’s Car Park – the far car park furthest away from the Spine Road)
Friday: Rances Lane/Montague Park (end of Rances Lane by the shops)
If you would like to help, just Peter Barrett (e-mail: peter.barrett500@gmail.com) know which evening(s) you can do. Based on last year, we could do with a few more on Friday night.
3. CA Service
Finally, there’s a service for all the churches on Sunday, May 17 at 6.30pm at All Saints. Hope you can make it.
