Our communion services are all ecumenical, (not specifically of one denomination) however they are led either by a priest from the Church of England or by an ordained minister from the Methodist Church.
Gathering around the Lord’s Table, we share in bread and wine – just as Jesus did with his friends on the night before he died. In sharing this meal we believe we come closer not only to God, but to one another.
The format of the service and the prayers that we use are dependent largely on the minister who is leading; but we use a variety of Anglican, Methodist, Iona and Taize liturgy and music, among others.
At 8.45am on the first and third Sundays of the month, we have a quiet, reflective service of Holy Communion.
At 10am on the second and fourth Sundays of the month, we have our main Communion services.
