Woosehill Church – Palm Sunday Re-opening
With lockdown restrictions gradually easing, the decision has been taken between the staff and the stewards that the church will re-open for congregational worship with effect from Palm Sunday, 28th March when our service will be lead by Mike Bowstead.
Of course, this will be subject to all the precautions and restrictions we have got so used to – face masks, windows and doors open for ventilation, hand sanitiser, no communal singing, social distancing and no “mingling”.
Attendance at services will be subject to a maximum of 30 including those taking part and so that we are able to control this we are re-introducing the booking system we used previously. So, if you wish to attend a service in person, please let the stewards know by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We will continue to live stream the services so that, if you are unable or uncomfortable to attend in person, you can still join in worship from home.
We look forward to welcoming you in person or on-line on Palm Sunday.
We are very much still here though – if you need prayer please contact us on email@example.com or if you need any practical help call us on 0118 979 2122.
When we return to normal, our main service of the week is held at 10am each Sunday. We also have quiet, contemplative services of Holy Communion, usually twice a month, at 8.45am.
The monthly cycle of worship services follows this pattern:
(click links for description)
- 10am Holy Communion
- 4 – 6pm Messy Church – see Recent & Upcoming Events
- 6.15pm Evening Taizé style worship
- 10am Café Church
- 5.30pm Service at Suffolk Lodge Care Home
