Worship is always about bringing the best of ourselves and offering it to God,
the one who is worthy of all that we are, mind body and spirit.
We bring our history and our present world.
We bring our private grief and our secret delight.
We bring all that we have been and all that we hope to be in the future.
Worship is where we find the point of lively equilibrium,
where variety is embraced as a blessing and an adventure.
We seek encounter with God and with each other.
We are Methodist and Anglican and both and neither.
We enjoy freedom and structure.
We meet God through music which lifts our hearts heavenwards, whatever the style.

Worship reminds us how to be a community,
for the community, with the community.
We are inspired and renewed by the Holy Spirit.
We are rooted in traditions which help us to proclaim the good news afresh.
We thirst after the kingdom of God through insights which make sense of our daily lives and through moments of profound encounter with God.
We are welcoming and inclusive because God is love.
Together, we are Woosehill Church.
More than that, in worship we learn how to be God’s Church
for God’s community of Woosehill.
